Three-toed Sloth

Update: Our baby sloth is doing fantastic thanks to the round the clock efforts from all of the caring staff and volunteers. He is outside practicing what his mommy would be teaching him to do! Did you know baby sloths are one of the hardest to care for? They require such specific temperatures and a grueling feeding schedule that we must give major shout out to our staff. You guys are the best!

baby slothIt is the season for babies! Here is one of our new rescues, a baby sloth. Found on the side of the road without a mother. Only weeks old, this baby will be fed every couple hours around the clock and kept at a very specific temperature. All positive thoughts and prayers welcome as baby sloths are one of the most challenging to care for.
